Newly opened Farm Country Meats in Union, Missouri is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen & Bakery Prep Cook. We are looking for someone to assist with the day-to-day preparation of grab-and-go meals and bakery items, all while ensuring exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary expertise as it is more than a hot sandwich counter. Your work in the kitchen and bakery will contribute to a hometown setting where teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the forefront. Hours of work are Monday through Saturday (Saturdays are a must) with one day off during the week, 6 to 8 hours a day. Join our Kitchen & Bakery to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects in the kitchen ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
• Assist with food preparation processes, from washing, cutting and mixing ingredients to washing and sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies.
• Assist in maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and freshness while adhering to food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols across all operations.

Qualifications

• Proven 2-5 years in a fast-paced food service environment such as quick service restaurants or casual dining establishments.
• Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and bakery operations with an emphasis on quality control and time management.
• Experience in produce and produce management.
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety.
• Knowledge of culinary practices related to meats, deli foods, baked goods production, catering services, and bar or coffee shop experiences is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Kitchen experience: 2 years required.
• Ability to commute to Union, MO 63084.
• Work is in person.
